National exercise for the case of disaster

On Tuesday, May 31, the casayohana team participated in the simulation for disasters that occurred throughout Peru. The day was held in commemoration of the earthquake that occurred 52 years ago, when the town of Yungay and its approximately 20,000 inhabitants were buried by an avalanche.

The simulation

The purpose of the simulation is to test the effectiveness and efficiency of emergency plans and to raise awareness and mobilize personnel and resources for disaster situations.

The exercise began with an alarm sounding to announce the danger. Everyone then proceeded via escape routes to safe evacuation areas or rendezvous points set up by authorities.

Through simulation, we can ensure the safety of our team. It means a lot to us to be prepared in case of emergencies so we can do a good job.
