After the 7-day incidence has now been consistently below 50 since early July, it is now skyrocketing again. Currently it is at over 170 new infections per 100,000 people in the last seven days.
The vaccination rate of first vaccination is 74%, about the same as in Germany. Full vaccination protection has so far 65%.

Since December 15, there has been mandatory vaccination in the workplace in Peru. All employees on our team are fully vaccinated. We continue to conduct vaccination education with our project families and collect information on which families have already been vaccinated.

The new president, Pedro Castillo, who has been in office since June, has many ideas and makes many promises about how he wants to improve the country. However, no concrete plans are apparent on how to implement them. It appears to many that he lacks a network of capable politicians.
