"All things I can do through Christ, who gives me strength and power."
- Philippians 4:13

So that was it: the Christival 2022 in Erfurt. In these four exhausting, but incredibly beautiful days, we as casayohana team were able to experience the great festival up close.

For me personally, it was the first time I was allowed to be part of a big event. And "big" is really an understatement for the Christival. About 13,000 people gathered at the fair in Erfurt from May 25-29 to pray, celebrate, sing and learn more about God together.

The most beautiful thing about Christival, however, were the people: Everyone was incredibly friendly and interested in learning something new. We had great conversations and were able to get so many people excited about our project!

At the end of the weekend we went home exhausted but happy, grateful for the new experiences and beautiful memories we were able to make at Christival.

But of course we were mainly at Christival to tell people about casayohana . At our booth in Hall 2, we talked to visitors about Bine's work in Peru, our campus with the new houses, and upcoming projects. We distributed tons of casayohana pens, flyers and also the homemade bracelets were well received. Especially the younger visitors we could inspire with pis pis, a traditional schoolyard game from Peru.
.

We also had the opportunity to participate in the countless events along with the other visitors: For example, we attended a radio play, got a tour of the cemetery, prayed together, and listened to talks about God's actions and our place in His world. We also looked around at the rest of the booths on the Info Mile and met old acquaintances as well as new faces who introduced us to their important work.
